Comparison of TRH series sensors

Advantages of the Series

The TRH series allows for precise temperature and relative humidity measurement in a single instrument. In addition to these real data, using DracalView or dracal-usb-get, you will immediately access the following calculated data: dew point, humidex, and more!

The Dracal ecosystem allows for harmonized data, no matter how many instruments are connected to your system. If you prefer data integration without going through third-party software (VCP mode), know that your temperature and relative humidity data will also be harmonized.

Sensor Protection

The protection covers the sensor of the digital sensor.

Photo Type of Protection Advantages Disadvantages
Aluminum Excellent physical protection, extended temperature range Slower response time, higher cost
PET mesh Good protection, low cost Slightly slower response time
None Increased response speed Must be protected from contaminants and splashes

Sensor Cable

Photo Material Advantages Disadvantages
PVC Standard low-cost cable type, medium temperature range. Inadequate for extreme temperatures. It may crack if bent at low temperatures.
Silicone Resists high temperatures and remains flexible even at low temperatures. Higher cost.

Particle Filter

The TRH320, TRH420, and TRH450 have a particle filter blocking more than 99.99% of particles over 200 nm, protecting the sensor from dust, soot, and other contaminants.

User Manual and FAQ

1- Can the probes go into the water?

No, the TRH probes are not waterproof. These USB instruments measure air components.

2- The cable and housing temperature range is 0°C to 70°C. Can I use the instrument within the probe's operating range?

Yes, but be sure to put only the probe in more extreme temperatures.
