New TMP300 brings reference-grade temperature measurement to a stainless steel probe

Precision across the full range

The TMP300 is built around a 24-bit ADC with a built-in noise filter and temperature compensation. That measurement chain gives it a resolution of 0.0001 °C (0.001 °C typical) and a noise level of just ±0.0015 °C at 25 °C. Accuracy is specified at ±0.101 °C at 25 °C, ±0.118 °C from -50 to 0 °C, and ±0.218 °C from 30 to 150 °C, with a drift of 0.007 ± 0.003 °C per year at 25 °C and 45 %RH. Every unit is individually factory-calibrated before it ships.

Sampling runs at 10 SPS (100 ms), fast enough to follow real thermal transients rather than smoothing them away.

A probe you can put where the measurement is

The stainless steel probe and silicone cable let you measure air or liquid directly, in the place that matters, while the USB-key-style ABS enclosure stays outside the process. The probe covers the full -50 to 150 °C range; the enclosure itself is rated for -20 to 70 °C.

That separation makes the TMP300 well suited to work that other USB sensors cannot reach: calibrating other components, environmental condition monitoring, serving as a working reference standard, and OEM integration into systems that operate in demanding environments.

Where it fits in the Dracal lineup

The TMP300 sits between our ambient sensors and our RTD adapters. Unlike the TMP125, it is a precision instrument rather than an ambient monitor. Unlike the RTD200/RTD300 adapters, it needs no external probe; the probe is part of the product. And unlike the TRH and PTH families, it is a dedicated temperature instrument that extends to 150 °C. Options

The TMP300 is available with our 3-point user calibration mechanism (-CAL), virtual COM port mode (VCP-), and calibration certificates traceable to the NRC (NIST). It is RoHS3 and CE compliant, and covered by our 3-year warranty.
