How do I get a traceable humidity and temperature reference for JEDEC qualification or ESD-controlled areas?
Standards such as JEDEC JESD22, IEC 60068 and ANSI/ESD S20.20 ask for calibrated, identifiable reference instruments. Your test automation also needs one it can read from code. Dracal instruments cover both:
- Every unit ships with a unique serial number, and NRC/NIST traceable certificates are available as an option (see the steps).
- Your Python or C# scripts read them through our command line tool, REST JSON API or serial interface (VCP), with no DAQ platform license (compare the options).
Choose according to what you need to measure:
- Qualification chambers and ESD-controlled areas, temperature and humidity: our TRH series, for example the TRH450
- If atmospheric pressure also matters: the PTH450, which measures all three in one probe
- Temperature only, for example on a characterization bench: the TMP300
Lumotive, a developer of optical semiconductor chips, switched all its temperature and humidity logging to Dracal sensors. See more examples on our semiconductors and electronics page.
