VCP products now ship in VCP mode

Starting July 1, 2026, every VCP instrument leaves our facility already in VCP mode. You no longer switch the device from USB mode to VCP mode before first use. You no longer install DracalView, the CLI, or any other Dracal tool to get started. Plug the instrument in, open it as a virtual COM port, and read your measurements directly.

The change removes a setup step for integrators and shortens your time from unboxing to first reading.

Our software suite remains fully available and supported (Windows users, see how it works). Use it when you want the added convenience of DracalView, logging, or the REST and MQTT interfaces.
