The elephant in the room: what Dracal doesn’t do

Elephant in the room

If you are considering using the Dracal solution for your data acquisition project, you have likely found a wealth of information on our website about everything our solution can do. But now, let's address the elephant in the room and answer the lingering question: Dracal, what don't you do?

What Dracal doesn't do

The Dracal solution is not for you if you want to implement a unique testing system that incorporates test sequence implementation with feedback loops. The Dracal tools allow you to implement a part of such a project (data acquisition), but programming a feedback mechanism should be done with a complementary solution.

The Dracal solution is also not for you if you want to perform measurements in passing environments with a high risk of disconnections. This is one of the limitations associated with the use of the USB connection.

The Dracal solution is not for you if you want to build a wireless sensor network. We do not yet offer a self-powered solution.

The Dracal solution is not suitable if you are looking for a software solution for analysis and alerting based on your measurements unless you are willing to integrate your Dracal instrument data into software that handles that aspect. Our solution currently focuses on the "acquisition" part (quick and easy data availability), visualization, and raw data recording.

The Dracal solution is not for you if you desire to purchase low-cost devices for one-time use. Our instruments are robust and designed to perform for multiple years, and these efforts are reflected in the price.

What Dracal does

The Dracal solution is for you if you want to easily establish a robust, reliable, and accurate measurement system with minimal resources (time, money, and manpower) in a normal or hostile environment.

The Dracal solution is for you if you want to integrate the data generated by its instruments into almost any existing system.

The Dracal solution is for you if you desire a gradual entry into the world of IoT through our Wi-Fi/Ethernet communication station, whose simplicity of interaction replicates that of a simple USB connection.
