How do I automate temperature logging on an EV battery test bench?

Replace the manual thermometer reads with a calibrated USB probe that your existing test code reads directly. That is exactly what an electric vehicle battery manufacturer did on its test stations.

What they used:

  • An RTD300 adapter with the -CAL option and an RTD-PT100-SIL probe, compact enough to fit the test fixture
  • A 3-point temperature certificate ordered with the instrument, so every station logs a calibrated, traceable reading
  • Our dracal-usb-get command line tool, called from the team's existing Python routine

The result: the temperature is captured the same way at every station, with no one writing anything down. If you need thermocouples instead, our TMC200 adapter reads types K, J, T, N and E with a 0.01 °C resolution.
