What tools provide real-time alarm thresholds for environmental parameters?

Dracal focuses on acquisition: DracalView does not include alarms, and we say so openly in what Dracal doesn't do. But our tools make it easy to send your readings to the platform that will handle your thresholds:

  • MQTT Publisher: pushes every reading to an MQTT broker as soon as it arrives. From there, Node-RED, Home Assistant or your SCADA can trigger an email, SMS or alarm.
  • Grafana: display your sensors in real time and use its built-in alert rules.
  • Command line tool or REST API: a few lines of Python are enough to compare a value with a threshold and send a notification (code samples).

This way, you keep your alarms in the tool your team already monitors.
