How does Dracal Technologies handle recalibration and re-certification of its instruments?

Most of our customers simply send their instruments back to us when it is time to recalibrate. You get an RMA number from us, ship the unit, order the certificates you need, and we ship it back recalibrated within 17 business days of receiving it. If you prefer, you can also have your instrument recalibrated by any accredited laboratory of your choice.

How often? We don't impose an interval, because the right one depends on your application and your quality system. Our article How often should Dracal sensors be recalibrated? shows you how to set it. If you need a recalibration date written on the certificate, just ask us when ordering.

Between two certifications, instruments with the -CAL option can be adjusted with our 3-point calibration mechanism, in DracalView or with dracal-usb-cal.
